Frank A. Bosco of Newfield, NJ purchased 194679S702275 on October 14, 1968 from Yank Chevrolet in Vineland, NJ for $5,664.40. He would trade in his 1966 Corvette for $2986.40. A few years down the line Richard D'Alessandro, who worked at a diner that Frank would frequent, became enamored with the car, and after a short chase Richard became the proud new owner of the C3.

Richard's purchase was followed by twenty years of careful preservation, and display at regional Corvette shows. At one such show in 1989, Richard met Grady Burch of Strongsville, Ohio. Grady was a known collector and convinced Richard to sell him the car, promising to store it in a controlled environment, which he did for the next sixteen years. Shortly after his purchase, on June 24, 1990 Grady submitted the Corvette to the grueling Bloomington Gold award process, easily earning enough points to garner the coveted Gold rating.

John Van Bokkelen of Danville, CA was looking for an original, low mileage, big-block Corvette when he happened upon this example in 2005. John spoke with each of the prior owners prior to making a purchase decision, to verify the complete originality and low odometer reading of this car. John purchased this Corvette on July 2, 2005 and shipped it to his California home where he continued its preservation, until selling it to fellow Northern California resident, Bill Brenner in the summer of 2006. Bill continued to maintain the car in perfect operating condition, driving it occasionally, and storing it in a protective environment until our purchase.

During its entire forty-six year history 194679S702275 has only been registered to its original owner, Frank Bosco, and treated as a collector vehicle by each of its subsequent caretakers.

Here is a rare opportunity to own a completely original, low mileage car preserved for over forty years by collectors who recognized the importance and muscular beauty of the early C3 Corvette.
